Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality across its properties.

The role covers handling work orders, preventive maintenance, make-readies, inventory, safety compliance, and collaboration with management; requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license; comprehensive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/Type II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance per safety codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacants including inspections and scheduling.
• Manage materials by tracking inventory and notifying supervisors of re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and assist with painting and cleaning as needed.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
