Job summary

Greystar, Waymark, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service and repair residential properties in Seattle. You will handle routine maintenance, make-ready preparations for new residents, and ensure safety and cleanliness across all common areas.

The role emphasizes quality service, timely repairs, and proactive communication with residents and management. Applicants should be proficient with hand/power tools, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and appliance repair.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand and power tools.
• Experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in communication and appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner, including appliance repair.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins via make-ready process and punch lists.
• Maintain cleanliness of exteriors, parking areas; assist with vendor management.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
• Document work orders and material usage; track inventory.
• Support cost-saving initiatives by fixing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
