Job summary

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Seattle. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professional appearance and strong communication in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs promptly, including appliances.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins via make-ready process.
• Maintain exterior buildings and parking areas.
• Assist with vendor management and other duties.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
• Document work orders accurately and timely.
