Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, inventory management, and accurate documentation of work orders. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost-conscious maintenance practices within a large residential portfolio.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance per safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Track inventory, access materials from maintenance, return unused items, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for proper logging and tracking.
• Assist in grounds and amenity upkeep by cleaning, painting curbs, and debris removal as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts and using tools correctly.
