Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of our properties. The role focuses on ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, tracking materials, and documenting tasks to support efficient operations. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs of building systems.
• Monitors and completes work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Inspects equipment and facilities to ensure safety and compliance.
• May travel to other properties as needed for support.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on property systems.
• Prepares vacant units by completing inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating contractors.
• Obtains supplies, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities such as curbs, signage, and pool areas.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
