Job summary

Greystar in Las Vegas is seeking a Service Technician to handle maintenance, make-readies, and preventive tasks across the property. You will diagnose defects, repair, and document work orders, while ensuring safety standards and code compliance are met.

You may inspect work by outside vendors and assist in grounds keeping and general cleaning. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and state/local certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type I/II or Universal) is required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles and golf carts.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Ability to perform make-ready and preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing, perform pre-move-out inspections, and create punch lists.
• Access materials and track inventory, reporting re-order needs to supervision.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
