Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform routine maintenance, and assist with make-ready processes to prepare apartments for leasing.

Responsibilities include processing work orders, inventory control, and documenting work for tracking. You will work on-site, may require flexible hours, and must hold EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Tracks materials, tools, and inventory; reports reordering needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure accurate records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
