Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and contribute to making residences ready for new tenants at Greystar-managed communities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair building systems per policy and code.
• Complete make-ready prep and pre-move-out inspections.
• Maintain inventory and document service requests.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department.
• Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
