Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Portland, ME to maintain building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support make-ready processes for new residents. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of work orders across indoor and outdoor areas.

The role requires hands-on trades work, the ability to inspect and fix issues efficiently, and strong documentation practices for work orders and inventory.

Qualifications

• Diagnose the source of defects and repair per policy and code requirements.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing via the make-ready process and punch list.
• Manage materials, track supplies, and notify supervisor to reorder.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing and conduct pre-move-out inspections.
• Manage materials, track supplies, and notify supervisor to reorder.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and cleaning of common areas.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing them.
