Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of properties meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role covers responsive work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and documenting service activities. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• State and Local certification requirements for service technicians
• Valid driver’s license to operate dealership or golf cart on property (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing per safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Access materials and track inventory from the maintenance department, return unused items, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Complete documentation for service requests to enable accurate tracking and record-keeping.
• Assist in grounds and common areas maintenance, cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible and using tools properly.
