Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of properties, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role involves completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory management, documentation, and performing general maintenance duties with a flexible schedule. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance following policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections, punch list, vendor coordination, supplies, tasks completion.
• Track inventory and materials, return unused items, notify supervisor about reordering needs.
• Complete documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Fix rather than replace parts when possible to support cost control.
• Attend safety meetings, follow OSHA and safety laws, report accidents promptly.
• Periodically inspect contractor work to ensure quality and scope matches.
• Assist in property inspections to identify safety and maintenance needs.
