Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance/Service Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete preventative maintenance per policy and code requirements.

You will handle make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory and order supplies, and maintain grounds and common areas. The role includes documentation, safety compliance, and participation in bonus programs where

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing via make-ready tasks and punch lists.
• Tracks materials and equipment, reorders supplies as needed through maintenance channels.
• Documents service work for proper recordkeeping and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling
