Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Service Technician responsible for keeping building interiors and exteriors clean, safe, and functional. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm, on-call required; 1–2 years of maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certifications are required.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready units, inventory control, and routine property inspections. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience on property systems.
• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Access materials and track inventory; notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests clearly for proper tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
