Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will diagnose defects, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, manage supplies, and document work orders. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Make-ready vacant apartments: pre-move-out inspection, punch list, coordinate vendors.
• Access materials and track inventory, return unused items, reorder as needed.
• Document service requests timely and accurately.
• Maintain grounds, pools, and signage; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
