Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues from resident requests, completing repairs, and documenting work orders. The role also covers make-ready tasks, inventory management, and supporting cost-control while maintaining safety standards across properties.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying leadership when reordering is needed.
• Documents and files service requests timely and accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs, and related upkeep.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools properly.
