Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties under supervision while maintaining top customer service and curb appeal.

We require at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma, and basic maintenance and carpentry skills. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a pay rate of $17 per hour plus a 20% housing discount and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs (electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds).
• Carry out carpentry tasks (wallboard repair, countertops, finish work, doors, tile).
• Handle preventative maintenance (siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, elevator, pool).
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance.
• Communicate with leadership on issues and follow safety protocols.
