Job summary

National CORE in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to support on-site property maintenance at Little Lake Village.

The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, custodial tasks, and general facilities upkeep. The candidate should have 1+ year in property maintenance and a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid CA driver's license, ability to participate in standby emergency schedule, and readiness to work day shifts are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year or more of recent experience in property management maintenance or a related field.
• High school education or equivalent is needed or a combination of 3+ years relevant work experience and technical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in maintenance projects and training classes as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work, such as clearing drain stoppages, replacing fittings and faucets.
• Replace broken tile, screens, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint, interior and exterior as directed.
• Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows in all common areas.
• Assist in grounds work as directed.
• Assist in the repair of concrete, masonry, roof, fencing and signage as directed.
• Participate in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
