Job summary

National CORE is seeking a maintenance technician for Cathedral City, CA. The role involves hands-on maintenance, electrical and plumbing tasks, carpentry, painting, custodial and grounds work on a full-time basis.

You’ll participate in projects, complete work orders within 24 hours, and help keep common areas clean and safe. A California driver’s license is required and 1–2 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in property maintenance; 2+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Join maintenance projects and training as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work including drain clearing and fittings.
• Replace broken tile, fixtures, appliances, blinds and locks.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
• Assist in carpentry tasks such as doors and shelves.
• Assist in custodial and grounds work across the property.
• Assist in inventory control and maintenance material usage.
• Maintain clean storage and shop facilities; follow safety rules.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours or escalate as needed.
