National Community Renaissance is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep, repair and safety across the community in Hawthorne, CA. The role involves a variety of trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and custodial work, with strong emphasis on timely work orders and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year (preferably 2+) of property maintenance experience.
• Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work such as clearing drain stoppages and replacing fittings.
• Replace broken tiles, screens, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint interior and exterior as directed.
• Assist in carpentry, custodial work, and grounds maintenance.
• Assist in inventory control and vendor communications.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report status to supervisor.
