Job summary

National Community Renaissance is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in California. You will assist with day-to-day maintenance, respond to requests, perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks, and help with turnovers and inspections.

The role requires a valid California driver’s license, a proactive approach and the ability to work with residents and team members. Responsibilities include painting, carpentry support, basic custodial work, and following safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in property management maintenance or related field.
• Must be able to read and speak English; bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must demonstrate initiative, professionalism and integrity in all areas of performance.
• Valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance are required for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work, such as clearing drain stoppages and replacing fittings.
• Repair and replace tiles, screens, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks as directed.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance; support in inspections and turnovers.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and communicate status daily to supervision.
