Job summary

National Community Renaissance is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep across residential communities in California. Under supervision, you will perform electrical and plumbing tasks, carpentry, painting, custodial work, and basic grounds maintenance.

You will assist with apartment inspections and turning vacant units, while ensuring safety and adherence to company standards. You will coordinate with the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor, complete work

Qualifications

• 1+ year of property maintenance experience
• Ability to read and speak English (and Spanish where appropriate)
• Willingness to work standby schedules and respond to calls
• Must possess valid California driver's license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical repairs (appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets).
• Perform minor plumbing tasks (drain stoppages, fittings, faucets).
• Paint interior and exterior as directed.
• Do light carpentry (doors, shelves, windows).
• Assist in custodial duties (cleaning, trash, windows).
• Assist in grounds work and exterior maintenance.
• Assist in repairing concrete, masonry, roof, fencing, signage as directed.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours; report to supervisor.
• Assist in apartment inspections and turning vacant units.
• Maintain knowledge of vendor contracts and inventories.
