The Maintenance Technician role covers routine repairs, turnovers, and preventive maintenance to uphold curb appeal and safety. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and basic mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is required.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and maintain high resident satisfaction.
• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and facilities.
• Diagnose issues, determine required materials, and complete repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Complete apartment unit turns by inspecting, repairing, painting, cleaning, and preparing units for new residents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections, including HVAC checks and smoke detector reviews.
• Maintain community grounds, buildings, and common areas, addressing issues and ensuring cleanliness and appearance.
• Support upkeep of property amenities and exterior features including irrigation checks and pool care if applicable.
• Assist with maintenance operations and resident support, including moving appliances and responding to issues quickly.
• Adhere to maintenance processes, track service requests, and communicate hazards or damage as needed.
