Job summary

Contemporary Management Concepts seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will perform repairs, preventative tasks, and manage inventory while following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, and appliance work, support move-in readiness, and ensure timely completion of service requests with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must complete the pre-placement medical disposition.
• Physical ability to withstand temperatures.
• Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs.
• General knowledge of appliances, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including OSHA standards.
• Candidates must undergo a drug screening.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and safety.
• Proactive, organized, and responsive.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs for buildings, grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Establish and implement a preventative maintenance program (e.g., HVAC filters, golf carts).
• Monitor waste management (dumpsters/compactors).
• Oversee pool and deck area maintenance and logs.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance shop and inventory.
• Keep up-to-date inventory of parts and supplies.
• Assist with pool/deck upkeep.
• Maintain positive resident communication on maintenance requests.
