Job summary

YES Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will interact with residents, ensure timely service requests and inspections, and support the upkeep of community assets and grounds.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with safety standards, and on-call responsibilities to address after-hour needs. Previous refurbishment experience is a plus, with a focus on reliable, quality work.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and resolve issues within the community.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup and report warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain PPE as required by State law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to safety standards.
