Job summary

CONTEMPORARY MANAGEMENT CONCEPTS LLLP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient upkeep of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and pools. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and keep inventory and logs up to date, while communicating with residents and supervisors.

The role requires hands-on skills, tool proficiency, and adherence to OSHA safety protocols. A flexible, reliable team member will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete the pre-placement medical disposition.
• Physically able to withstand temperatures between 15-100°F and lift up to 60 lbs.
• General knowledge of appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• EPA certification highly recommended.
• Proficient in the safe use of powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs for the community's buildings, grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Establish and implement a preventative maintenance program (e.g., changing air conditioning filters, servicing vehicles).
• Monitor and maintain waste management equipment like compactors or dumpsters.
• Oversee pool and deck upkeep, including logs for pool, chemical, and mold safety.
• Maintain maintenance shop cleanliness and inventory of parts and supplies.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for move-in and perform minor electrical/plumbing repairs.
