Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure building systems and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks, manage inventories, and document work orders to support property operations.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for on-property golf carts, and compliance with local regulations. Expect a collaborative environment with opportunities to travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests clearly for proper recording and tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving practices by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property

State and Local certifications as required
