Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality for residents. You will diagnose and repair issues from resident requests, complete the make-ready process for vacant homes, track supplies, help with inspections, and support cost‑control practices.

A valid driver’s license, EPA Type 1/II or Universal certifications, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather are

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory; notifies supervisor about re-orders.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using resources efficiently.

Education
