Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the operation and upkeep of its property buildings and grounds. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance areas.

The role requires responding to resident work orders, maintaining tools and supplies, and ensuring safety and professionalism in all interactions with residents. On‑call availability is a consideration for this hourly position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended.
• Fair Housing Certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, and related tasks.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and communicate status to management.
• Daily repair and upkeep of the community facilities and units.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to occupancy.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Ensure safe operation and storage of equipment; comply with OSHA standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior; respond courteously to residents.
• Keep pools, fountains, hot tubs, and amenities clean and operable.
