Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep and repair property buildings and grounds in Virginia Beach. You will diagnose problems and perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and appliance repairs to maintain efficient operation and safety.

Responsibilities include responding to resident work orders, performing routine preventive maintenance, and keeping tools, equipment, and supplies organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive to daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs.
• Respond to resident work orders promptly and notify management after completion.
• Maintain daily repair and upkeep of the community and vacant units prior to occupancy.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of tools and supplies; keep area organized.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
