Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain the operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds, diagnosing problems and making repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and more.

The role requires responsiveness to resident work orders, on-call availability, and strict adherence to safety and company policies; HVAC cert preferred, CAMT recommended, Fair Housing cert required within 1 day of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing Certification required within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement.
• Respond promptly to resident work order requests and notify management upon completion.
• Repair and upkeep of the community on a daily basis.
• Conduct routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new occupancy.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment; maintain tools in good condition.
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure professional appearance and behavior.
