Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to provide on-site maintenance at our communities. You will perform property upkeep, respond to service requests, and present the company professionally at all times.

You will monitor expenses, inspect grounds, maintain units, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and quality in common areas. This role requires reliability, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year maintenance experience is preferred.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and keep them below budget.
• Inspect community grounds every morning.
• Perform turn/maintenance of vacant units and prepare for occupancy.
• Complete all maintenance requests promptly.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping, bushes, trees, and lawn.
• Snow removal of sidewalks and log weather-related efforts.
• Maintain records of maintenance performed in all units and at the site.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and replacement parts in working condition.
• Provide and maintain own personal tools.
• Sweep and maintain common areas; supervise contractors on-site.
• Provide emergency resident support after office hours.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records for residents and units.
• Maintain all common amenities and respond to other duties as assigned.
