Job summary

Kittle-Property-Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Launch Social Living communities. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to resident requests, and keep facilities safe, clean, and well‑running.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience, and basic computer skills; HVAC/EPA certification is a plus. Strong teamwork, reliability, and ability to work with residents after hours are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and simple correspondence.
• Basic math for simple calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Reasoning to follow written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Basic computer skills with MS Outlook and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Monitor expenses and keep maintenance within budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Perform turn and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Complete maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Preventative maintenance activities and record-keeping.
• Maintain landscaping, snow removal, and logs of weather events.
• Supervise contractors and provide emergency resident support after hours.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and common area cleanliness.
• Coordinate with residents and document maintenance activities.
