Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building exteriors, interiors, amenities, and grounds. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety standards across the property while providing excellent resident service.

The role requires hands-on proficiency with tools, a high school diploma or GED, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license. A customer-focused approach and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Willingness to perform maintenance tasks with hand and power tools.
• Customer service mindset to interact with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Completes 24–48 hour work orders from resident requests and performs routine upkeep.
• Prepares vacant homes for leasing by completing make-ready tasks, inspections, and coordinating vendors.
• Tracks materials and tools from the maintenance shop and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service activities accurately and maintains records for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Repairs parts when possible to support cost savings and avoid unnecessary replacements.
• Inspects contractors' work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Follows safety policies and participates in safety trainings and meetings.
• Interacts professionally with residents and staff to address questions and concerns.
• Performs periodic property inspections to identify safety issues.
• Maintains reliable attendance and meets physical demands of the role.
