Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance on- site, ensuring interior and exterior areas meet company standards for safety and functionality. You will handle routine repairs, make-ready preparations, and capital projects while coordinating with on-site teams and vendors.

The role requires practical experience with hand and power tools, basic math, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Language Ability: Read, write, and communicate effectively to represent management.
• Math Ability: Basic arithmetic for maintenance tasks.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; PM system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests within 24–48 hours.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing via make-ready and punch list tasks.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Inspects materials and coordinates with vendors; supports cost-control efforts.
