Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work across our property to meet cleanliness, safety, and functional standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders within 24–48 hours, making-ready vacant units, and maintaining grounds and amenities.

The role requires use of hand and power tools, basic computer skills for documentation, and compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; maintenance experience preferred.
Able to read, write and communicate effectively for internal/external contacts.
Basic math, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required.
Proficient in basic computer skills and record-keeping for work orders.
EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal and valid driver’s license are required/ preferred by jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and perform routine upkeep.
Complete make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
Inspect work by vendors to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
Attend safety meetings and complete OSHA-related training.
Communicate property needs and safety concerns to management.
