Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform mechanical and maintenance work across our properties. The role focuses on ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Typical duties include diagnosing issues, completing work orders, making-ready homes for leasing, and coordinating with vendors. Candidates should hold EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license, with a flexible schedule and on-site

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
• All state and local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs to meet safety and quality standards.
• Completes make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, including pre-move-in inspections and punch lists.
• Sources materials, tracks inventory, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Docs service requests and maintains accurate records of work performed.
• Assists in grounds and common area upkeep and performs painting or cleaning as required.
• Supports cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
