Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Goddard Point Hope in Charleston, SC. You will perform technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas up to Greystar standards.

You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks for new move-ins, inventory handling, and routine safety practices while supporting cost-control initiatives. Physical work in all weather and occasional on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• State and local certification requirements as applicable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance following policies and safety standards.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory and requisition materials through maintenance department.
• Completes documentation for service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assists in grounds and amenities maintenance and general cleaning.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
