Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance-focused team member for a mid-rise community in Charleston, SC. The role covers work-order resolution, make-ready tasks for leasing, and routine upkeep under Greystar standards.

You will handle preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and safety compliance while supporting the property team in staying within budget. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; skilled with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, arranging vendors, and ensuring timely turnover.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and tools; collaborates with Community Manager on supplies and budget.
• Conducts monthly preventive maintenance and supports budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Ensures safety compliance, keeps MSDS up to date, and follows OSHA regulations.
