Job summary

Greystar in Long Beach is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance across our property. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and handle routine inspections and resident requests.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing vacant homes for leasing, maintaining grounds, and following safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. A 3-5 year maintenance background is required with Yardi and HappyCo experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of property maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related trades experience.
• Experience with Yardi and HappyCo required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet policy and safety standards.
• Makes-ready vacant units by inspecting, listing tasks and coordinating vendors.
• Obtains materials, tracks inventory, and documents work performed.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
