Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair our stabilized properties in California. You will handle routine maintenance, complete make-readies for new move-ins, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality across the property.

You will diagnose issues, coordinate with vendors, document work orders, and support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible. HVAC/refrigerant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience working with 100+ units preferred.
• Proficiency with HappyCo, Make Ready's, Work orders.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks materials, inventory, and orders; notifies supervisor for re-orders as needed.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
