Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of our properties in Los Angeles, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The role requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience with HVAC and electrical work, plus vendor coordination and strong customer service skills.

Schedule includes weekend availability, on-call duties, and a Thursday-Monday shift from 9am to 6pm, with occasional changes based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience on property facilities.
• HVAC, electrical work, and vendor coordination experience.
• Excellent customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Manage materials, inventory, and ordering needs from the maintenance department.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
