Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across community homes, buildings and grounds. The role involves repairs, upkeep of equipment, and strong resident service to ensure safety and curb appeal.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting plumbing and electrical issues, irrigation inspection, snow removal where applicable, and supporting contractors. A high school diploma or GED is required with preferred maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in previous maintenance experience in apartment or manufactured housing industry preferred.
• 1-2 years in snow removal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair rental homes and facilities.
• Perform general maintenance on grounds, buildings and equipment.
• Inspect irrigation, water meters, plumbing and electrical systems as applicable.
• Keep common areas clean and safe, report issues to the manager.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors when needed.
• Ensure curb appeal and community standards are met.
