Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across community properties. You will conduct repairs, maintain grounds, and ensure curb appeal while providing excellent service to residents.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, irrigation checks, snow removal where applicable, and keeping facilities clean. Candidates must have a HS diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months in maintenance experience in apartment/manufactured housing (Preferred)
• 6 months snow removal experience (Preferred)
• 6 months general maintenance knowledge (Preferred)
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to work on-call schedule
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain community properties.
• Complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain vacant sites and remove debris.
