Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities.

You will handle home and facility repairs, upkeep of grounds, streets, and utility systems, while delivering courteous service to residents. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of maintenance and snow removal experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work on-call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience in apartment/manufactured housing preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience (plow truck) preferred.
• 6 months general maintenance knowledge and repair work preferred.
• Must be able to endure outdoor conditions and temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across Sun’s communities.
• Complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain grounds, streets, and common areas; assist with snow removal where applicable.
