Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Austin, TX seeks a property maintenance technician to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, repair defects, and coordinate make-ready tasks for new move-ins, while upholding Greystar’s high service standards.

Responsibilities include handling resident work Orders, maintaining tools and inventory, and participating in budget and safety processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for HVAC work.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete maintenance work orders from residents and perform routine upkeep.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety laws.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and respond promptly to concerns.
