Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure buildings and grounds meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years in property maintenance, and EPA refrigerant certifications. The job includes potential vendor coordination, safety participation, and on-site duties across Greystar properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and state/local licenses as required.
• Proactive, able to work independently or as a team member, and lead when needed.

Responsibilities

• Select and complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing, complete pre-move-out inspections, and manage punch lists.
• Manage materials, track inventory, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Document tasks accurately to enable proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, assist with safety meetings and training.
