Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance.
• Own hand tools and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders and routine maintenance.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and inspections.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and interiors.
• Periodically inspect work by team members for quality control.
• Inspect contractors and ensure materials meet standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA/compliance.
