Job summary

YMP Real Estate Management, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day operations and maintain the physical asset of the property under the management staff.

You will perform ground maintenance, respond to emergency maintenance, complete service requests within 48 hours, and assist with make-ready of vacant units while ensuring safety and quality standards are met for tenants and vendors in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have your own basic tools - drill, flashlight, screwdriver, hammer, tool set/sockets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground maintenance activities (cutting, mowing, weeding, edging, blowing, planting foliage).
• Responsible for all 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Complete service request within 48 hours depending on unit status.
• Carry pager or cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
• Work within expense limits established; assist with make-ready of vacant units as directed by Property Manager.
