Job summary

ZRS Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service residents at our Fort Lauderdale property. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform skilled repairs and upkeep across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and handle apartment turnovers within 3–5 business days.

The role requires driving capability with insurance, strong attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to work on-call hours. A path to growth to Maintenance Supervisor is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team and on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, efficient, and professional service to residents.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain property.
• Perform technical maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days with turnover checklist.
• Handle common area maintenance such as cleaning, trash, windows.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, or shutters issues.
• Maintain preventive maintenance program and inventory of tools/equipment.
• Keep work area clean and observe safety rules.
• Enter newly purchased tools into inventory.
• Be willing to work on-call hours.
