Job summary

YMP Real Estate Management, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team responsible for a portfolio of buildings, facilities, and grounds in Fort Lauderdale. The role oversees day-to-day operations and ensures timely, safe maintenance and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supervising maintenance staff, a background in HVAC, and EPA certification, with a focus on minimizing disruptions for tenants and upholding quality service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC Certification required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Must have experience working with distressed or aged properties.
• Must have your own basic tools – drill, flashlight, screwdriver, hammer, tool set/sockets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work within expense limits established.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant units as directed by Property Manager.
• Operate various electric, gas and manually powered tools and equipment.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment; makes repairs within abilities.
• Take appropriate actions in emergencies to resolve hazardous conditions.
• Respond to tenant requests, complaints, or questions promptly and courteously.
• Maintain standards of quality service.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain working knowledge of HVAC systems and perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Supervise maintenance technicians in the repair of facilities and coordinate with contractors.
